The Japan Trip is an annual trip during spring break organized by the Harvard School of Public Health Student Club of Japan. The aim is to provide participants with opportunities to learn about public health in Japan and the Japanese culture.

The 2015 Trip to Tokyo & Tohoku
 
The dates for the 2015 trip are March 14-22 (spring break). This tour is non-credit. 
 
The theme of the trip is post-disaster recovery. Before and during the trip students will be provided with the opportunity to learn about disaster management, health consequences of large scale disasters and the health care system in Japan. Participants will join the UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai, spend time in Ishinomaki (one of the hardest hit areas during the triple disaster in 2011) and conclude in Tokyo with engaging discussions with top global leaders. There will also be plenty of sight seeing and fun cultural activities. 
 
Budget
 

・ Maximum $1,000 including 6 nights accommodation and domestic transportation.

・ Not including airfare ticket and some meals
